What was built

Minego is a Web3 browser that puts a whole ecosystem inside the browser rather than leaving it to separate apps and extensions. Wiring a wallet protocol directly into the browser means transaction signing and account management happen at the browser level instead of through a bolted-on extension, and pairing that with a built-in VPN and side panel keeps the ecosystem's tools reachable from any tab. The gaming, launchpad and DAO integration turn the browser into an entry point for the rest of Minego's product line, so a user doesn't have to leave the browser to reach them.

The engineering challenge

Building a wallet protocol into the browser itself, rather than shipping it as an extension, means the browser has to manage keys and approve transactions as part of its own code, which raises the bar on how that code is written and reviewed.
