What was built

BrowseWeb3, also known as BW3, is a Web3 browser that combines a VPN, a wallet and its own ad-blocking in one build rather than leaving them to separate extensions. Building the wallet directly into the browser removes the need for a separate extension to sign transactions, and pairing it with a native VPN and custom ad-block integration means those features run as part of the browser itself. That combination is aimed at supporting decentralized ecosystems, where a browser increasingly acts as the point of entry to wallets, dApps and on-chain services rather than just rendering pages.

The engineering challenge

Integrating a VPN and a wallet natively, instead of as extensions, means both have to be built and maintained as part of the browser's own release cycle — every Chromium version upgrade has to carry that code forward with it.
